| 4K Action Camera vs HD Camcorder
When deciding on what camera system you will use to record soccer games, lacrosse games or another sport, it is important to look at the overall quality. Most 4K action cameras record at slower frame-rates (60i) whereas good camcorders record at much faster frame rates (60p or better). Camcorders also provide optical zooms instead of a digital zoom which basically amounts to cropping the picture and reducing the quality. Camcorders provide better options for low light conditions and color saturation. This video shows a side-by-side comparison of a good quality 4-K Action Camera versus a standard HD Camcorder.

"A picture is worth more than a thousand words"
Our camera pole allows for quick panning and tilting of the camera. The controls are manual and can be adjusted quickly. This is very important for fast moving games, like soccer and lacrosse, where you need to keep up with the ball. This video was taken with the SVT Advantage Tower next to the bleachers. Video was taken with our normal Package 3. If you are looking for even better quality read "Can I use a 4K Camera with the SVT Tower" in our FAQ comments on 4K.
